Ultimate Camping Checklist - For the Kitchen

Ultimate Camping Checklist - For the Kitchen

In all honesty, there's a lot I dislike about the camping kitchen.  I sincerely dislike managing the cooking and clean up chores all day.  I want to fish and hike and play!

Sad reality check - it was never written that camping was meant to be a break from the adulting necessary in life.  Especially if you bring your kids.  You just get to do the adulting in a more beautiful environment!  To make cooking and cleaning in the camping kitchen easier, keep you space organized and pre-plan all meals.

For organization and extra working surface, I recommend a camping kitchen.  A cheaper option that doesn't give you the extra counter space are Rubbermaid stackable drawers.

My meal planning is well thought through (with a ton of prep work before the trip).  Look forward to my camping cooking series starting this spring!  I'll walk you through every step: pre-planning, cooking, and which meals work vs. those that don't.

Also, be sure to check out my camping etiquette article for tips on what to do with the dishwater and must know facts about burning trash like paper plates.
